Homework

Each week, homework will be set on a Monday and on a Thursday in addition to the expectation of reading daily.  Please initial children's homework diaries each time they read and sign the homework diary at the end of each week to confirm that they have completed their homework.  If your child is not able to complete homework for some reason please just put a note in the homework diary for our information.  

In order to help the children with their organisation and preparation for secondary school, please could we ask that they have their homework diaries in school every day.  Thank you.

Monday - Spellings and times tables.  (See 'Spelling' folder on the Class Page for each week's spelling in addition to the hard copy which is sent home.)  Due Friday for tests.

Thursday - General homework task linked to one of the areas we're working on in class; this could be linked to English, Maths, Science, Geography etc.  This will come home in homework books.  Due on Monday for marking.
