Spellings will be sent home every Tuesday to be practised for a test on the following Monday.  The spellings may comprise a mixture of taught spellings and common misspellings from work completed in class.

We will practise spellings in school each day and there may be a mini daily test in addition to the more formal test on a Monday morning.

Children in the Big Group will have their spellings posted under the relevant folder each week as well as taking home a hard copy.  Children in the Small Group should be practising Nessy each day as their spelling homework but will sometimes have the opportunity to do Nessy in school too.
