Friday 28th January 2022 - Art: Oracle Bone Art 

Good Afternoon Kingfishers! 

As you know we have been studying the Shang Dynasty and we know that the period existed due to the artefacts found. Some of the most famous artefact found were the Orcale Bones. On the oracle bones you can see stories from that time carved and written in Chinese. 

For today's lesson I would like you to have a go at drawing or painting some of the writing found on the oracle bone. On the word document attached you will find a picture containing the symbols and translations.
