Tuesday 14th December - R.E.

Today, we looked at the class nativity scene and talked about the people also seen in the bible. They compared this with their play. We watched a short animated Christmas story and discussed common characters/elements (for example places).

We discussed: who is Christmas a special time for?

Do we all celebrate Christmas in the same way?

Why do some people who are not Christians celebrate Christmas?

The children drew a picture of what Christmas time means to them and described why/why not it is celebrated.
