Focused Reading

Hi!

From what we have already read in 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth', I am now asking you to predict what might happen. Here is the task:

Predict Task

Today you are going to make predictions based on what has happened so far.  You obviously don't have your book but you don't need it, as this will be your ideas about what could happen next! Your answers should be in full sentences.

Think about what has happened to Axel so far.  Remember they had just found water. You are going to predict what is going to happen next.  What is going to happen to him?  What will he find?  Will he survive?  I would like you to imagine you are the author and you are going to write your version of the beginning of the next chapter. 

Remember to write in the first person (I, me) as though you are Axel.
