Friday 18th February: Georgia O'Keeffe Art 

Good Afternoon Kingfishers! 

For art this afternoon I would like you to remind yourself of the artist Georgia O'Keeffe, we briefly spoke about her last week. 

I have attached a powerpoint and a video clip for you to watch which will help you to learn all about who Georgia O'Keeffe was and how/why she produced her art work. 

For your art afternoon I would like you to create some of your own art work in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe. I have attached a website to show you how to do this this but also a powerpoint including the step by step process of how to create your art work if you do not want to use the website. There are two pictures for you to choose from to recreate (if you want a challenge, why not try both!). 

When creating your art work you can use either oil pastels, crayons or colouring pencils as these materials will allow you to blend your colours together easily.
