Below is a summary of the maths being taught this term.  Please note that the dates on the left are indicative as topics taught will be adjusted to meet the needs of the class.

The documents below contain the Key Instant Recall Facts children in Year 4 are required to learn and which are covered in our Morning Maths sessions.

Supporting your child at home

In light of recent circumstances many parents have asked what they can do to support their child at home, particularly with Maths. 

 

As a school we follow the White Rose scheme of work for Mathematics who have produced some supporting workbooks. To avoid overlapping with new content taught in class, our suggestion would be to focus on consolidating learning by beginning with the workbooks for Spring Block 1: Multiplication, Division & Area or Block 2: Fractions.
