What do you do next? Who do you go and tell? Explain who you tell and what happens to the fossil. Does it get dug out of the cliff? Who carries it away? Where does it get put? In a museum? In your front room?!

Now edit your work (use a purple pen if you have one). Check you have spelt words you are unsure of properly (use a dictionary if you can). Up-level words you have chosen (use a thesaurus, book or online if you can). Check that EVERY SENTENCE starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop, exclamation mark or question mark. Make sure that what you’ve written makes sense (add in any words you’ve missed out). Have you used punctuation or is it all one long sentence?
