The children re-told the Christmas story using the bible, props and a word mat to support them. The focus was the Wise Men and the gifts they gave the baby Jesus. We listened to the 'We three kings' carol.

We talked about: why do Christians believe Jesus was a special baby?

Why did the Wise Men visit Jesus and give Him presents?

What would they have given to Jesus and why?

Please encourage your child to draw a picture of the Wise Men and talk about this part of the story.
