The Platinum Jubilee
Several of the children from Year 1 to Year 6 had a once-in-a-lifetime experience on Tuesday morning when they were given the opportunity to have the renowned children’s author Sir Michael Morpurgo read them his new book.
As part of their Platinum Jubilee coverage, ITN filmed a group of Cheapside children listening to Sir Michael reading from ‘There Once is a Queen’ beneath an oak tree in Windsor Great Park. It was a real treat and the crew were at pains to say what a credit the children were to the school.
