Spellings General Information

Spellings will be sent home every Wednesday to be practised for a test on the following Monday.  The spellings may comprise a mixture of taught spellings and common misspellings from work completed in class.

We will practise spellings in school each day and there may be a mini daily test in addition to the more formal test on a Monday morning. 

Please find below words mats for Year 1&2 spellings and Year 3&4 spellings for your information together with the spelling curriculum.

Children  will have their spellings posted under the relevant folder each week as well as taking home a hard copy.
