Watch the enclosed video, remember to include the place holder for the second line of the calculation as you are multiplying by a multiple of 10; e.g. in the calculation 456 x 48; you are performing 2 calculations: 456 x 8 and 456 x 40; therefore, in the second calculation you need to add a place holder, then multiply by 4.
