W/B 13th July 2020
This week the whole school will be continuing activities relating to Mexico!
Please refer to the grid for ideas that you can choose to do with your child. You will also find lots more ideas on our website Curriculum page under Key Information.
If you would like to have a go at any Maths this week please have a look at the White Rose Maths Home Learning. We are one week behind (Summer Term, Week 11, W/C 6th July, The Dinosaur Who Pooped a Planet) and I have recorded a reading on Tapestry in case you do not have the book at home. You do not need to print anything out as most of the activities are practical, can be viewed on line or can be made/drawn at home. You can also practise weight, measurement and capacity by using the White Rose Plans from 29th June Home Learning.
Please continue to practise Phonics when ever you can by playing games, see the list posted on 22nd June home learning, or watching the DofE Letters and Sounds videos. You can find the link on our class page.
Don't forget to send me any photos of your work!
This will be our last week of home learning and our last week in Wren Class. Have a lovely summer and I will see you all in September to help with your transition into Year 1.
Lots of love to you all.
I found this lovely Mexican folk tale that has some great art work. I am going to read this with Bubble A and Bubble B in school and have a go at making our own pictures from the story and write about them. If you are not in school, then please feel free to read this story and have a go yourself at some art and writing activities. Maybe write you own version?
