Maths - Estimate Answers

English - The River by Valerie Bloom

Using the work you have completed so far I would like you to write your own version of ‘The River’.

For example your might write:

The River’s a player.

Hiding and searching,

He  looks for a path,

Leaning and lurching.

I would like a minimum of 4 verses. Try to make the 2nd and 4th line rhyme but don’t panic if it is too tricky!

RE - Symbols

Key Question: What is the most significant part of the Nativity story for Christians today?

A symbol is a picture that stands for something else. Some symbols are universal and others are cultural so may not be recognised worldwide.

Have look at the sheet below. Can you work out what the symbols stand for? Try to resist looking at the answers!

Next, I would like you to try and think of as many different symbols relating to Christmas as you can. Which one do you think is the most important? Why?
